Dynacord Echocord Super 62

Dynacord Echocord Super 62

Superb example of this stunning 60s German valve tape echo - serviced and sounding excellent. Uncommon in this condition and very rare to find one that sounds so good - demo below.

You need to get the levels right to get the best out of these machines, but they reward experimentation - they can be noisy compared to later solid state machines, but they have bags of character and ooze class and warmth.

The condition is truly excellent - a few minor scuffs to the case, but the front panel is very clean - unusually all knob caps are present and undamaged. Valves are selected vintage Telefunken/Brimar: 5 x ECC83, 1 x ECC82. Click on the photos to zoom in and see more shots.

There are no known operational faults with this unit.

(Please note: it is always possible with vintage equipment that some crackly pots/sliders may develop over time when equipment has not been used - even during shipping - this can usually be easily rectified either by use or judicious application of suitable switch-cleaning spray).
